For homeowners, we carry out complete home renovations, house extensions and structural alterations, and new build homes, as well as loft, garage and basement conversions and outbuildings, garden rooms and annexes. For landlords and investors, we refurbish apartments and flats, convert and refurbish HMOs, and upgrade rental properties.

Summit Contracts carries out fit outs and refurbishments across the commercial sector. In retail and hospitality, that means shop fitting and retail refurbishments, restaurant, café, bar and takeaway fit outs, and hotel and guesthouse refurbishments. For workplaces and industry, we deliver office fit outs and refurbishments, work on warehouses and industrial units, and install commercial kitchens and staff facilities, along with commercial toilets, washrooms and changing rooms. We also work in buildings that serve the public: gyms, leisure centres and sports facilities, schools, nurseries and education facilities, healthcare premises and care homes, and community centres and public buildings. Every project is coordinated from initial concept through to completion.

We undertake large private building contracts and projects for property developers and investors, alongside work for the public sector. This includes council refurbishment and maintenance contracts, government and public building projects, and housing association and social housing works. Within that, we take on void property refurbishments and student accommodation refurbishments, provide facilities management support, and deliver tendered projects and framework contracts.

Our design services cover building design and space planning, interior design and finish specifications, and architectural drawings and layouts. We coordinate planning applications, building control and structural engineering on your behalf. The whole scheme can be delivered as a design and build package, so a single team takes the project from initial concept through to completion.

We act as principal contractor and provide full project management. That covers procurement and subcontractor coordination, site management and programme planning, and project handover and aftercare. Whether the project is a single shop fit or a multi-site programme, every stage is coordinated from initial concept through to completion.

Beyond individual projects, we provide planned maintenance and reactive repairs, landlord works and end of lease reinstatement, and commercial property conversions. For clients with a portfolio of premises, we deliver multi-site refurbishment programmes. We also carry out insurance repairs and reinstatement, including fire, flood and water damage restoration.
